Nothing like finding that, in your PTO absence, some supposedly-intelligent colleague did a restore export of a VHD to the C:\Temp directory of a live server which is itself being backed up and replicated off-site.

Twice.

To the tune of, all told, 106GB.

Which is why today I had to delete two VHD files ("Oh we're done with those" "THEN WHY ARE THEY STILL THERE?") and start a whole new backup chain because no way was 106GB of change data going to sync offsite EVER.
