As I go through re-ripping CDs that were previously done with a pre-release version of the Ogg Vorbis codec (gods I'm old), I'm reminded that on first listen I absolutely hated Midnight Oil's REDNECK WONDERLAND album, and now I think it's one of the most consistently solid pieces of work in their entire discography.
Sometimes the records I bounce off hardest at first are the ones I love most later on. (See/hear also: Duran Duran's ASTRONAUT.)
